A festive outdoor market scene on a cobblestone street lined with wooden vendor stalls decorated with string lights and greenery. The stalls display colorful fruits, produce, and handcrafted goods. People bundled in winter coats browse the booths. At the center of the image is a circular pink Collective Agency logo with a star detail. In the lower portion, large white text reads ‘Shop Local.’ A geometric multicolor design element appears in the top-left corner
Shop Small, Pay Cash, Keep Our Communities Strong
This holiday season, every choice matters. With the government shut down and health insurance premiums climbing, small business owners are carrying more than their share of uncertainty. These mom-and-pop shops make up the largest group of businesses in the country — they’re the backbone of our communities. Yet, they rarely see the bailouts or safety nets that big corporations do.
When you shop small and pay in cash, you help business owners save on credit card fees that can take 3–5% of every sale. That savings helps keep their doors open, employees paid, and benefits possible.
